Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your purchase and use of RiftIcon software ("Software") created by Randy W. Stover ("I," "me," or "my"). By purchasing or using the Software, you agree to these Terms.

1. License Grant

Upon purchase of the RiftIcon Founder's Edition, I grant you a perpetual, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Software on an unlimited number of devices you personally own, for personal and commercial use.

The license is tied to the individual purchaser and may not be resold, sublicensed, or transferred.
You may not redistribute, decompile, reverse-engineer, or modify the Software.
The license includes all future updates released under your purchased edition tier.

2. Founder's Edition

The Founder's Edition is a limited-quantity offering (capped at 500 licenses). Founder's Edition purchasers receive:

Lifetime license to the current version (V1) and all future phase updates
Priority support directly from me
The lowest price tier — price increases at each subsequent phase

3. Payment

Payment is processed securely by PayPal. The purchase price is a one-time payment of $99.00 USD. There are no recurring charges, subscriptions, or hidden fees.

4. Delivery

Upon successful payment, your license key will be delivered to the email address associated with your PayPal account. If you do not receive your license key within 24 hours, email me at randy@rifticon.com.

5. Refund Policy

I offer a 30-day money-back guarantee. If you are not satisfied with the Software for any reason, you may request a full refund within 30 days of purchase. See the Refund Policy for details.

6. Software "As Is"

The Software is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to the warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. I do not warrant that the Software will be error-free or uninterrupted.

7. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall I be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, profits, or business opportunities, arising out of or in connection with the use of the Software.

My total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Software ($99.00 USD).

8. Intellectual Property

RiftIcon, RiftMesh™, SmartRoute™, DeepMemory™, NightLearn™, and all related trademarks, logos, and trade names are my property. The Software is protected by intellectual property filings in progress, with prior art timestamped on the Bitcoin blockchain, and applicable intellectual property laws.

9. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Use the Software for any unlawful purpose
Attempt to circumvent license key validation
Distribute, share, or publicly post your license key
Use the Software to infringe on the intellectual property rights of others

10. Termination

I may terminate your license if you violate these Terms. Upon termination, you must cease all use of the Software and destroy all copies in your possession.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of the state of my principal place of business.

12. Changes to Terms

I may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Software after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
